The scan feature searches a 200km radius around your chosen location for recent animal sightings, pulling real-time data from eBird and iNaturalist. You can filter by species category and date range up to the last 30 days.
Sighting data is sourced from eBird (Cornell Lab of Ornithology) and iNaturalist, two of the world's largest citizen science wildlife databases. Each marker on the map links back to the original observation record.

Your location is used only to perform radar scans within the app. It is not stored permanently or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
